Outasight Marketing is a Dunedin based Marketing consultancy company run by Anna Schmid. Anna is Dunedin born and bred and has extensive experience in retail and food marketing from having over 15 years working on international brands such as Sky, Burger King, Luxottica and Silver Fern Farms.
Anna returned home to Dunedin after many years away and looking on her experience she saw the opportunity to offer retail and food service marketing to local brands as this was a gap in the market.
However, since starting other small businesses have been drawn to Anna’s methods and have become clients - in essences the marketing principles are the same but we need to understand the market and by starting with research this allows us to gain this.
Anna’s philosophy is that we want to make our work fun and we want you to enjoy working with us - being proud of what we create together!
At Outasight Marketing we see the value in working collaboratively with other like-minded local businesses and so we work alongside graphic designers, photographers, copywriters, videographers, illustrators - just to name a few! We think it’s important you know the lovely ladies we work with the most so here is a little bit about them:
Little Projects is a visual communication business specialising in helping small-med size businesses convey their messages in clear/creative way. With 25+ years experience in graphic design and visual display, designer Lynette Johnston will help you get noticed while targeting the right audience – your potential customers.
Shayne Hughes - Shayne Creative
I’m Shayne Hughes, the designer, the thinker and the tea drinker behind Shayne Creative. Before starting my freelance journey, I moved from Ranfurly to Dunedin to obtain my Bachelor of Design Degree from Otago Polytechnic. I went on to work for a local design agency for a few years before shifting into content development and technical illustration for Fisher & Paykel.
Working across both print and digital channels, I aim to help businesses put their best foot forward from concept through to delivery.
Isabella Harrex - Isabella Harrex Photography
Isabella Harrex is an editorial, marketing and lifestyle photographer, based in Dunedin, New Zealand.
With a love of making people laugh, Isabella creates images that tell stories. Beautiful portraits, fresh and vibrant lifestyle sessions, and marketing imagery that speaks to people.
Twelve years in the business and a solid education in both film and digital has seen Isabella evolve into a specialist in natural light. Her signature 'happy people doing happy things' style (as she likes to call it) has seen her work as the principal photographer for both Otago University and Otago Polytechnic, as well as producing marketing imagery for clients including Artemis, Silver Fern Farms, Enterprise Dunedin & Southern District Health Board.
Isabella's editorial work is regularly featured in Cuisine, North & South, Nadia, Dish, Next, Good, NZ Weddings and Kia Ora magazines, and she continues to enjoy telling stories through photos.
